    Speaker Bio: Kate Dashner, Senior Consultant and Founder of Simple HR Solutions, is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over 20 years as a generalist practitioner. She partners with Senior Executives to create HR systems to streamline operations and strengthen procedural consistency, including processes relating to compliance, staffing, on-boarding and orientation, leadership training, policy development and implementation, and performance improvement. She takes a pragmatic approach to talent management and creates Simple HR Solutions with a clear link to business outcomes.

      Kate Dashner functions as the Immediate Past President of the Akron Area SHRM board of Directors, and also sits as the Northeast Ohio District Director for the Ohio SHRM Council. She focuses energy on remaining up-to-date on the ever-changing world of HR law. Kate earned her MBA in 2010, which established in her a solid strategic business acumen.  She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute and an active member of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), with whom she possesses a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
